So some of you may have noticed that there's a little bar next to your icon. That bar indicates your Merit Percentile in green. It goes up and down depending on the gifts you complete, their ratings, how many offers you have out that are not yet given, how many people think what you offer is nice, and how much you communicate with other Quidlers (can that be a word?)

Right now, because of their completed gift, one of the members here has a great deal more Merit than the rest of us - and his percentile is at the top. We only show percentiles because Merit is not a unitary measurement. Merit is not something you spend, only earn. Merit for items given and the ratings on those items starts to fade over time (very slowly, but surely) so you don't get to keep your position if you are inactive. Quidlis is the only account that will ever be in the 100% percentile for reasons that will become clear later. I'm open to discussion on all of this while we are still in beta.

Next things for me to work on:

• General weekly notifications sent out to all members who subscribe to show new offered and wanted items in your area and these blog posts.
• A status showing the number of Quidlers currently logged in vs the total number of Quidlers.
• Improvements to Notifications to show new wants and offers or acceptance of wants or offers in the top nav.
• Create the audit page so we can see anonymous activity and verify it's all cool. Working on a way to make sure that information is not traceable to a member.
• The preview image on an item is not showing up if the image name is already taken. The image uploads with a new name but the preview doesn't yet show.
